At Saint Jacques, you'll find 3 different materials to create versatile wetsuits. We choose the best thermal insulation to offer you top-of-the-range quality products.

YAMAMOTO LIMESTONE NEOPRENE

This premium Japanese neoprene features a uniform closed-cell structure that gives it superior qualities to other neoprenes.

When you choose Yamamoto, you get the top-of-the-range neoprene specific to your activity.

BIO II ™ THERMAL INSULATION

It's the most eco-responsible material in our range, made from renewable raw materials such as sugar cane, oyster shells, rubber and inedible vegetable oil.

BIO-II ™ is 100% neoprene-free, and offers excellent performance in terms of flex, warmth and durability.

SUPERSTRETCH NEOPRENE LIMESTONE

This limestone-based neoprene is selected for its optimal all-round performance: elasticity / lightness / warmth / resistance.
You'll find it on our range of tops and back zip wetsuits.

Finishes for a technical wetsuit

GLUED SEAMS (GBS)

All our fullsuits have this finish, which guarantees optimum watertightness. The neoprene panels are glued and then stitched on the surface with a nylon thread without the needle piercing the neoprene (blin-stitch). This sewing system limits water ingress and provides a perfect finish.

BRAIDED SEAMS

The seams are braided on the inside to increase the wetsuit's waterproofing and durability. The braid is flexible and stretchable, so as not to "stiffen" and restrict freedom of movement.
All our fullsuits have this finish, except the BIO II range.

WARM QUICK DRY LINING

This inner lining increases warmth, speeds up drying time and provides extra softness. All our fullsuits feature this finish, which guarantees optimum watertightness.

Depending on the model, it extends from the chest to the knees or to the ankles. We use different linings for each model, always optimizing warmth and weight to match the suit's design.

WATER DRAINS

All our fullsuits feature an exclusive water drainage system at the ankles. Perforated neoprene drains water away from the leg and prevents water retention, ideal for wind sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing and wing surfing. No need for Velcro.

ANKLE THREADING FINISH

Exclusive to Saint Jacques, inspired by classic sports joggers, to offer optimum comfort and support for the ankles. It also blocks water ingress at the bottom for windy sports.

ELASTIC BAND FOR KEYS

Very practical to avoid hiding your keys under the car ;) Depending on the model, a zippered pocket or elastic band on the inside of our wetsuits.

STRATEGIC REINFORCEMENTS

Thermo patch reinforcements are strategically placed to extend the life of your wetsuit. This finish is also found on all our fullsuits.

SILICON PRINT

All our wetsuits feature waterproof prints to block water ingress at the wrists. They are flexible enough not to interfere with donning and doffing.

KNEE REINFORCEMENTS

Lightweight, flexible and durable external pads to protect both your knees and your board. Ideal for SUP or wing riding when starting from a seated position.

Zips adapted to wetsuit

CHEST ZIP

This system corresponds to a pre-engaged chest zip, offering greater freedom of movement and maximum waterproofing. Ultra-fast closure, even with gloves! You can find the chest zip on our latest 3/2mm wetsuit.

FRONT ZIP

This fully detachable chest zip offers easier donning than the chest zip. It also guarantees waterproofness and flexibility. You'll find this closure system on our BIO II collection, our Yamamoto fullsuit hooded convertible and our lisa Yamamoto integral, available in 3/2mm and 5/3mm.

BACK ZIP

YKK back zip closure with back panel system for easy donning, equipped with zip lining (back wash) for greater comfort and reduced water infiltration.
